- HP jurisdiction covers all interstates and state freeways
- Minimum pursuit speed threshold: 20 mph over limit
- All pursuits require supervisor notification within 60 seconds
- Spike strip use requires Sergeant approval
🚛 Commercial Vehicle Enforcement
- All overweight vehicles must be directed to a weigh station
- Log CDL violations separately from standard traffic stops
- Hazmat vehicles require backup before approach
📻 Communications
- Use HP radio channel exclusively during operations
- Mutual aid requests must go through dispatch
- All pursuits must be logged via radio in real time
